Qualified Builder

We’re looking for a qualified builder to join the crew at Andrew James Building Ltd, based in Ōhope and working across the Eastern Bay.

We specialise in new builds, renovations, and reclads — delivering clean, detailed, high-quality work for our clients. We take pride in running tidy sites, producing solid craftsmanship, and keeping things professional from start to finish.

About the Role

We’re after someone with solid experience on the tools who can work independently and take pride in what they build. You’ll be working closely with Andrew and the team across a variety of residential projects.

We’re open to the right person joining us as an employee or a contractor — attitude and skill matter most.

What You’ll Need

• BCITO qualification

• Your own tools and reliable transport

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative

• A clean and professional approach on site
